Amelia Pludow

Biography

Amelia Pludow is a PhD candidate in the Geography Department and an affiliate of the Broom Center for Demography. Her research focuses on location modeling, spatial analysis, and GIScience and her dissertation research is on the demography of wildfire risk. She has a BA from Colby College (Geology and Environmental Studies) and an MA from UCSB (Geography). Prior to graduate school, she worked as a paleontologist for several years.
