Behzad Vahedi

Formerly a Graduate Student Researcher at the Center for Spatial Studies, Behzad Vahedi is now a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography at the University of Colorado, Boulder (CU Boulder).

While at the Center for Spatial Studies, Behzad conducted research on core concepts of spatial information, more specifically on modeling geographic fields and designing computations for them based on Map Algebra. In his new program at CU Boulder, he will work on the applications of Machine Learning in geography.
