Indy Hurt

Indy Hurt was a Ph.D. graduate student interested in agent-based modeling of infectious disease. Her research examined the spatial distribution of perceived risk perceptions with regard to the transmission of tuberculosis. Hurt has a B.A. in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.S. in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Redlands. Before returning to her studies to pursue her Ph.D. at UCSB, Hurt was an instructor at ESRI, where she taught introductory ArcGIS courses in the desktop applications. Hurt has been employed by Apple since the completion of her doctoral studies.
