Geography PhD candidate Yingjie Hu will present “Extracting and Understanding Urban Areas of Interest Using Geotagged Photos”, a talk and web demonstration. (View abstract [pdf].) Yingjie is a member of the STKO Lab and has held internships at Esri’s Applications Prototype Lab. His research focuses on the semantics of geographic information.
